Frank Tadley: Wild Life from Yosemite Park.
Join Frank Tadley for an afternoon of slides and a talk about his trip to Yosemite National Park. He will be showing photographs of monumental vistas, dramatic granite walls, towering waterfalls, wildflowers and valleys full of grasses, staggering sequoias and other flora plus the occasional wild animal call at every turn. Images are in color as well as black and white infrared. RSVP by September 6, 2010 to the Griffin. |

Lisa Tang Liu: See her show Cowboys in the Aberjona River Galery. Lisa Tang Liu photographed her first cowboy in 2004. As a naturalized American citizen of Chinese ancestry who immigrated to the United States at age nine, Lisa has spent most of her life pondering what it means to be American. The cowboy has long been a symbol of the American spirit for her. The cowboy stands for freedom, self-reliance, adventure, new frontiers, and optimism-values that she loves about our country.
