The Griffin Museum of Photography to host its 8th Annual
“TASTE at the Griffin” to benefit their 7 galleries
The Vernal Equinox, the first day of Spring, is next week and there is no better way to celebrate than by attending the “TASTE at the Griffin”, Friday, March 28, 7:00 to 10:00 pm at the Griffin Museum of Photography, 67 Shore Road, Winchester, MA. Enjoy sumptuous fare and beverage samples from dozens of area restaurants and vendors. There will be an expanded heated, outdoor area to accommodate the increased number of restaurants, vendors, attendees, and free parking.
The event highlights include: unlimited spring menu selections from top local restaurants and vendors, open bar of wine and beer, and a craft spirits tasting with Winchester Wine & Spirits; a photographic exhibit; musical entertainment and a silent auction.

During the “TASTE”, there will be a silent auction. Items include: a garden design consultation & report from Gardens by Demetra and a Mahoney’s Garden Center gift certificate; 4 days/3 nights at the Samoset golf resort in Rockport, ME; originals from celebrated artist Tom Chambers; rental of the Griffin’s Shore Road, Winchester location; tickets to the Stoneham Theatre; gift basket from Pairings Wine and Food; gift certificates from Art Class Kitchen, Lux Lounge, Swanton Street Diner, The Energized Body, The Organized Wardrobe, and Tulip Restaurant; photographs from the Griffin Museum’s collection of Arthur Griffin’s work and local photographers, including John McConnell; and memorabilia from the TD Garden Sports Museum.
Artwork on view at the “TASTE” will be a group exhibition by the members of the Griffin’s Photography Atelier 19 (March 6 – 30, 2014), a portfolio-building seminar of 23 artists. There will also be live musical entertainment by returning favorite, Jazz Casual.
